Leadership Development Model

The values and key capabilities described in the Leadership Model emerged from a range of conversations held with senior managers, heads of department, staff groups and governors during 2006-7. It is therefore very much grounded in our University community and has not been imposed on us by any external agency or consultancy. The toolkit and the pdf also contain the ‘Manager Responsibilities’ – which set out the basic capabilities expected of all those who carry a leadership or management role.
